Nova Caine - Season 3 - Episode 18

Ivan’s the mark, not knowing his Nova from 1970 is leaving his parents’ property and moving to Classic Industries, where Overhaulin’ will work with his wife, Shannon. She’ll be an insider for a week of building and pranking. Chip Foose gets a well-earned vacation for the first part of the build, but he does the design ahead of time and returns by the end of the build to add his one-of-a-kind details to the car. When Chip's gone, his dad Sam Foose assumes the role as Captain of the build team.

While Sam and the crew work on the car, Ivan discovers that the ride is stolen. The news comes by way of a phone call from Shannon. Ivan thought the car was safely stored at his parents’ house. Wanting to one day restore the car, Ivan is upset. But he has hope by way of friends in the police department. This week, those friends are also working with Overhaulin’, telling Ivan they have a lead on the stolen car. Just as Overhaulin’ finishes the car, Ivan is told to come to a place where there might be shady stuff going down; his stolen car might also be there. So says Ivan’s law enforcement buddy, claiming there’s going to be a bust before Ivan’s very eyes. Instead of the bust, Chip drives up in Ivan’s remade 1970 Nova.
