Navy Seal - Season 3 - Episode 21
John’s 1965 Ford pickup means a lot to him. John is an ex Navy SEAL who has had the truck for a long time. He even named it after a departed friend named Mitch. His wife Angela got hold of Overhaulin’ and requested a Chip Foose rebuild. Overhaulin’ not only stepped up to the challenge; the show enlisted a team of Navy builders; guys who were thrilled to work on a ride for a fellow Navy man. After the heist, the real work began.
As the truck was made remarkable, John was told that his beloved ‘65 was stolen from a shop where it was being serviced. John went through the roof, trying to deal with phony insurance men played by Chris and the always irrepressible Art. Just as the truck was coming together at California Performance Transmission, John was at the end of his rope, telling Art that there would be no small settlement for the stolen ride; to John, that truck was irreplaceable. The truth was revealed to John just as he reached the peak of his anger. He was brought to the finished pickup and st unned beyond words, especially when he saw that the new customized dash contained a painted tribute to his dear friend, Mitch. |
