Lisa knows her husband Mark is in love with his treasured 1972 Cutlass. She’s known that since the day she met him. The car was his father’s. It’s been in the family since the day Mark’s dad special ordered it new from the factory in the early seventies. All that explains Mark’s misery when the Cutlass supposedly becomes involved in a tangle of identity theft and impound fraud. But of course, all of that is the work of Overhaulin’.

As Mark spends a week trying to get his car back from a shady operator played by prankster Lee, Chip and the A-Team make the Cutlass incredible, complete with a stunning two-toned paint job and a new white interior. Once the ride is perfect, Chris contacts Mark as the law, vowing to take down shady Lee and get the Cutlass back. Chris says he’ll need Mark’s assistance in the bust. For added assistance, Chris also brings along officer Foose. Once the bust goes down, Mark learns that he’s been Overhauled. He’s brought to Original Parts Group, the site of both the build and the reveal. Mark is overwhelmed, especially when the fully reinvented car is seen by his stunned father.
