Roadies Stole My 'Vette - Season 4 - Episode 10
Overhaulin’ conned Carl, the owner of a ’57 Corvette. The ride was rescued at Quantum Tec-Star, and Carl’s wife Trisha worked as the insider. The heist took place at the home of Carl and Trisha. This is where Chris and Rob dressed up like unemployed roadies and broke into the garage that was housing the Corvette. They made off with the car and took it to Chip and the A-Team. The crew quickly learned that the ’57 Chevy was in bad shape
The pranks escalated at a rapid pace, as prankster Greg posed as Detective McCool, an officer who wasn’t looking hard enough for the stolen car; at least that’s the way Carl saw matters. Carl started his own investigation, fortunately for Overhaulin’, to no avail. Meanwhile, Chip and the team worked hard to bring the car back to life, complete with a total body do-over at Lanzini’s. Deadline-wise, they cut it close but they got it done, making the old Chevy into a true blue thing of beauty. When it was time to tell Carl, Chip and Chris went to the mark’s house with the same suspicious tow truck Carl’s neighbors saw seven days ago. Carl was made wise and then reunited with his Overhauled Corvette. |
