You can choose the colours of your pages to compliment your corporate colours. Cosideration however may need to be given to how a page will look when it is printed. For example, white text on a black background won't print unless you have change the default settings for your printer.

Good design also dictates that you have to do a minimal amount of panning or movement around a page on the screen.
