Documentaries
For as long as there have been hot rods there have been feature films and documentaries about them. They are usually created to be entertaining and informative, but they also are a snapshot in time and are just as valuable as a source of history. Either intentionally or un-intentionally they give a facinating insight into the technology, trends, lifestyles, mindset, values and fashions that were prevelent at that time. Even more facinating with hot rods is the observation that some things change and other things never change.
