The titles you see here represents TV shows that I'm interested in and my collection of TV DVD's.
As a child of the 50's TV was a new, wonderful and amazing thing. You have to remember that before TV if the family wanted to see "moving pictures" it meant a trip to the local picture theatre and home entertainment was a radiogram. As you can see there are 2 strong themes running through my TV viewing and collecting; hot rods and gangsters. There's also some rare classics that I watched a kid and probably were responsible for influencing me in those formative years and TV shows that I still enjoy

The writing, the performances, the sheer manic energy of the series make every episode a classic. It doesn't get much better than this.

The show's title is a pun: it refers to physical improvement of houses, as well as to improving life with family, friends, work, and school.

Emmy winner James Garner stars as the offbeat Jim Rockford, an ex-con turned private investigator who would rather fish than fight, but whose instinct on closed cases is more golden than his classic Pontiac Firebird.
