The Grizwald's European Vacation

Early start as Karen was going to Chester to see a family friend. On the underground District train to Embankment Station on the other side of the Thames and then up to Euston Station. After seeing her off we went back to Embankment and walked over to Trafalgar Square and then around to the horse guards parade. When that finished we walked through St. James Park to Buckingham Palace for the other part of the changing of the guard. The walk through the park was fascinating with all the ducks, geese and squirrels, they even had hundreds of deck chairs across the grassed areas.

Jude and I had cucumber sandwiches in the park opposite the palace.

Walked down to Victoria Station with Jude stopping at every souvenir shop on the way, got on a red double decker bus and went up to Pickadilly for some more shopping for Judy, then home where I cooked my fist meal for 5 weeks. Karen got home about 7:15 and had a great day. Hot again 29° although by Thursday they are predicting 15°, pity we leave on Wednesday! Ha!
