Lots more walking, we are about 1.5ks from the Seine River and most of the action.
We booked tickets for the Louvre last night, so we were there for opening at 9:30 which was great because we just walked straight in and got to see Mona Lisa without the big crowds. It tools us until 12:30 to finish. We walked across and saw a Hop on hop off boat for 14 euro for the day so we jumped on that and went to the Eiffel Tower had a look around and the huge queue for tickets and decided to book online tonight.
Back on the boat we went down to the Notre dame Cathederal, huge queues again but we took some photos and Jude bought some presents from the market stalls along the river. Then it was back on the boat, we got off at the Champs de Lysceec to walk home and book our tickets.
Then we decided to go back in to the Eiffel tower for lights to go on about 8 o'clock. We caught a taxi home about 9 only cost 10 euros. Big day, all very tired. |
