Day 5 Bangkok to Chiang Mai

Off to Chiang Mai

Checked out of Siam@Siam at 10 for a 1pm flight. Traffic going out of town wasnt too bad. But heading into town was grid lock. We only just found out yesterday was a National holiday which explained the light traffic in the morning. I think it was the anniversary of the King's corination. Anyway check in at Bangkok Airport was a breeze.

Plane delayed due to technical difficulties. Didnt leave till 2.30. By the time we got to our room it was nearly 5, bit of a wasted day. Chiang Mai reminds me a bit like Bali, smaller streets and not much high rise.
