Day 12 Koh Samui - Bangkok

Boy oh boy the fireworks last night were huge! Had our last breakfast at the hillside for the first time. Got picked up at 10, plane left for Bangkok at 11:45. Had some free Wi-Fi while waiting so that was ok. Koh Samui airport is funny as it has a row of shops just like Tullamarine but it's all out side even the waiting lounge was just a fancy big pergola. This time Bangkok Airlines supplied us with a plane that ws more suitable to Judy's liking, well at least it didn't have propellors...
Once again the transfers have been fantastic, and our man was waiting for us in Bangkok, we were out and in our mini bus in no time. The trip to the hotel was mostly freeways or major roads under freeways and it was only the last couple of k's that the traffic banked up.
The Pathumwan Princess Hotel (444 MBK Center, Phayathai Road, Pathumwan, Bangkok 10330, Thailand Ph: 0011 66 2 216 3700) is like the Crown Complex in Melb, we are on the 18th floor great view over the southern end of town.
It didn't take Jude long to get into the shopping and I lasted all of nearly 1 floor before we parted company. We met up again for tea which we had at this really cheap place in MBK and the food was really nice.
After tea Jude kept shopping and I brought Grandma back to the room for a coffee and the best bath she's had in ages.
